Privacy policies,
one per app.
Every Romba Studio app publishes its own privacy policy, because every app collects different things. Pick your app below — the studio-wide policy that covers all our apps, websites, and related services follows underneath.
The short version
Each app has its own privacy policy.
App-specific policies name the exact SDKs, data types, and deletion steps for that app. The studio-wide policy below applies to all Romba Studio apps, websites, and related services, and remains in force alongside every app policy.

Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request support, or otherwise communicate with Romba Studio.
Our mobile applications may request access to device features only when needed for app functionality. Depending on the app, this may include storage access, device information, app usage information, crash diagnostics, IP address, approximate location derived from your device or network, operating system, device model, browser type, mobile carrier, and similar technical data.
If an app requests access to location, storage, or another device permission, you can allow or deny that permission in your device settings. Some features may not work correctly if required permissions are disabled.
Some Romba Studio apps process sensitive information only when it is necessary to provide their core function. For example, the TDEE, BMR & Body Fat Calculator processes health and fitness measurements locally on the user’s device to perform calculations. Product-specific details appear in the TDEE section below.
- 02
TDEE, BMR & Body Fat Calculator
The TDEE, BMR & Body Fat Calculator lets users enter the sex used by the selected formula, plus age, height, weight, activity level, goal, body-fat inputs, and related calculation data. These inputs, calculated results, and saved history are stored in the app’s private storage on the user’s device. Romba Studio does not operate an account system or server that receives these measurements, results, or history.
The app excludes its profile and history database from Android cloud backup. If a user chooses Android’s direct device-transfer feature, Android may transfer the app’s local data between that user’s devices.
The production version may use Google AdMob to show ads. Google may process limited device, advertising, app, and ad-interaction information to serve and measure ads. The app uses Google’s consent flow where required and provides a Privacy option in Settings for users to review or change applicable ad choices.
The app may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Performance Monitoring when the user’s consent state permits it and the app’s Usage statistics setting is enabled. These services may process limited app-interaction, crash, and performance information. The app does not send raw body measurements, body-fat inputs, calorie results, or saved history to these services; it does not set a Firebase user ID or use health measurements to create advertising audiences.
The app does not disclose entered measurements or saved history to Meta, Facebook, or other social-media advertising platforms. It does not sell entered measurements or saved health history.
Users can disable Usage statistics in the app’s Settings, manage supported advertising choices through Settings > Privacy, and delete local app data by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app. Google handles data it receives through its services under its own privacy policies and service settings.
This app also publishes its own full policy, including step-by-step deletion instructions, at https://rombastudio.com/privacy/tdee

How We Use Information
We use information to provide, maintain, protect, and improve our apps and services; troubleshoot issues; understand usage trends; prevent fraud or abuse; respond to support requests; comply with legal obligations; and, where applicable, show advertising or measure advertising performance.
We process personal information only when we have a valid reason to do so, such as your consent, our legitimate business interests, the need to provide the service you requested, legal obligations, or protection of vital interests.
- 04
Advertising, Analytics, and Service Providers
Some Romba Studio apps may use third-party service providers for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, hosting, and similar operational services.
These providers may process device data, usage data, advertising identifiers, approximate location, or similar technical information on our behalf or according to their own privacy policies. Categories of third parties may include ad networks, data analytics services, and performance monitoring tools.
We do not allow service providers to use information we share with them except as needed to provide their services, comply with law, or as otherwise described in their own privacy notices.
- 05
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our websites and online services may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the service, analyze traffic, remember preferences, and support advertising or measurement.
Most browsers allow you to remove or block cookies. Some features may be limited if cookies are disabled.
- 06
Third-Party Links
Our apps or websites may contain links to third-party websites, online services, mobile apps, or advertisements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services. Please review their privacy policies directly.
- 07
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
When we no longer need personal information, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely store it until deletion is possible, such as when data is held in backups.
- 08
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- 09
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly market to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
- 10
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, request data portability, or complain to a data protection authority.
To exercise privacy rights or request deletion of data associated with a Romba Studio app, email contact@rombastudio.com. We will review and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. Where an app publishes its own policy, its "Data deletion" section lists the exact steps for that app.
You can also control many mobile permissions, advertising identifiers, location settings, and app data through your device settings.
- 11
California Privacy Rights
California residents may have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information are collected, used, disclosed, sold, or shared; the right to request deletion or correction; the right to opt out of sale or sharing where applicable; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
To make a California privacy request, email contact@rombastudio.com. If you use an authorized agent, we may request proof that the agent is authorized to act on your behalf.

Do-Not-Track Signals
Some browsers and mobile systems offer Do-Not-Track signals. Because there is no uniform standard for recognizing these signals, we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted that requires us to respond, we will update this policy.
- 13
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be shown by the revised date above and will become effective when posted.
